Dear friends,
Thanks to your unending generosity, EAF continues to help meet the most urgent needs of our community in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
To date, we have given over $40,000 in disaster relief grants to horse people in Florida and North Carolina who are working to overcome catastrophic circumstances.

One hundred percent of your recent donations are helping equestrians fulfill their essential needs as they rebuild their homes, barns and livelihoods. You are helping to replace lost personal essentials, refill refrigerators, and make the farm repairs that can get an equestrian business back up and running.
While many losses loom large, the seemingly small things can also make a huge impact in a horse person's self sufficiency. Maggie Cambra, who earns her living as a freelance stall mucker, lost all of the tools of her trade in the Wellington tornado. An EAF disaster grant purchased new wheelbarrows and tools to replace the ones she lost, allowing her to keep her business on track.

There is still work to be done.

Thanks to the generosity of Wellington International's Great Charity Challenge, donations up to $20,000 will be matched.

One hundred percent of Disaster Relief Fund donations go to horse people in crisis. However, EAF cannot accommodate requests to earmark funds for the benefit specific individuals within the equestrian community.
|
EAF's Disaster Relief Fund remains open to those in crisis as a result of the storms.
|
Please note that EAF's foundational commitment to catastrophically ill and injured members of the equestrian community is unwavering. This grant program remains open even in times of natural disaster. Follow these links for more information on our impact and our traditional medical crisis grants.
