Summer  2006
A Letter from the EAF President

Dear Friends,

For the past few months The Equestrian Aid Foundation has been working diligently in supporting our new mission, creating a new look and raising more money for our very deserving recipients.

As many things bloom in the summer, so does our Foundation. We recently launched a new website, our new Young Riders Committee and the new Event Outreach Program. Through our website, you will get the latest news about the EAF, read about the activity going on with our Young Riders and have the ability to make direct donations on a secured site. You will also have access to our calendar of upcoming events and view photos from past events. As a participant in our Event Outreach Program, you will have the opportunity to introduce the EAF to your community and help support our mission.

Thus far, we have had several very successful events in 2006; the Outback/Sidelines Triathlon, the annual WEF "White Party" and several events hosted by R. Bruce Duchossois. We would like to extend our thanks to the wonderful hosts of these events, Samantha Charles, the founder and creator of the Triathlon, Bertrand de Soultrait, the creative force behind the White Touch Party and our very dear friend R. Bruce Duchossois.

Although all of the events were a great success, the Outback/Sidelines Triathlon raised the most funds bringing in over $100,000 for the Foundation. It was a day filled with good times, good friends and a wonderful spirit of generosity. You can see photos from all our events by visiting our new website.

Our donors truly are the heart and soul that support The Equestrian Aid Foundation. At this moment in time, when there are so many Foundations seeking support, we are forever grateful to those of you who have supported us through the years. Your generosity and continued support have helped make a tremendous impact on the lives of our recipients. To all of you who have helped promote our mission to new audiences, thank you for being our ambassadors. Your commitment to our Foundation will continue to touch the lives of our peers in need.

Sincerely,

Robert Dover
