Event Outreach Program

The EAF board is a working board in a very real sense, one that depends on the expertise of every program participant. Members engage in strategic planning, fundraising efforts, setting goals and objectives, serve on standing committees, and oversee EAF-conducted programs and special events.

We are now entering a very exciting time in the history of our Foundation, as we are growing rapidly and becoming a staple Foundation within the equestrian world. Due to our growth, we are launching our new Event Outreach Program - an outreach initiative organized to create awareness about the EAF through all the different riding disciplines.

As an Event Outreach participant, you are vital link between the EAF and the community within your riding discipline. Our participants plan, host, participate and attend EAF sponsored events; representing the Foundation and generating enthusiasm for making donations to the Foundation. This service gives participants a chance to inform, promote, and support our mission within the varied equestrian disciplines world-wide. Program participants also serve as liaisons between donors and the Foundation.

The Event Outreach Program has been designed to support our participants and help provide information about the Foundation and plan events to support our mission. Program participant’s contact peers within their riding discipline through organized mail and phone appeals. They are also encouraged to plan at least one event per year to inform the peers in their discipline about the EAF and its mission; as well as generate donations within their riding discipline. This can be done independently or with another program participant. It can be an independent EAF event or an event where the EAF is the beneficiary. Through these fundraising efforts, program participants champion the need for additional funding and encourage donations of any amount.

Each participant is encouraged to create an event committee comprised of their peers – specific to their discipline – to help shoulder the responsibilities of launching a successful event. The EAF administrative office will provide all participants with educational and promotional material, as well as administrative support before, during and after the participant’s event. The office will help promote each event via the EAF website and through our own independent public relations efforts. We will do whatever we can to help make your event a total success.

Please call the EAF office today at 1-800-792-6068 to inquire further about our program or to start planning your event.

Thank you for your consideration and continued support. We look forward to planning your event with you.
